Camp – Specimen Summative Project Brief
Gathering
elements
Producing original elements
You must create some
original elements for use in your products. Here are some examples:
- images captured using a
digital camera
- your own artwork or
photographs captured using a scanner
- your own artwork created
using a graphics package
- your own text created using
ICT
Using ready–made elements
You can use a range of
secondary sources, such as image galleries, websites and magazines, to find
ready-made elements.
You will probably need
to edit some of these elements. Whatever you do, you should make sure that
they are suitable for your products.
Make sure you get
permission to use elements that are not copyright-free. Read the terms and
conditions of use to make sure you are using them correctly.
Use the elements
table to record details of all the elements you use in your products. You
can find an example on Edexcel’s website or in the textbook D203: Graphics by R. Chasemore.
