Base Camp – Specimen Summative Project Brief

Investigating requirements

For each product that you design, ask yourself:

  • What it is for?
  • Who it is for?
  • How it is going to be used?

 INVESTIGATING EXISTING GRAPHIC PRODUCTS

Before you start to design your products, you should get some ideas by looking at existing logos, birthday cards, currency notes and web pages.

Evaluate the graphic design of these products by considering:

  • audience and purpose
  • appropriateness of images and text
  • use of bitmap and/or vector tools
  • use of colour
  • size and proportions
  • layout
  • impact
  • message conveyed
